Hi everyone!
It's my first time posting here and I've had this doubt for the longest time!
In my life I have smoked weed I think around 15 times (I'm telling you this so that you know I don't use it often): the first times I really liked it cause it relaxed me and made me sleep (I also mixed it with other prescription drugs for anxiety and depression) but the last few times I had such a strong adverse reaction to it that was so different from the first times.. it gave me an intense feeling of nausea, vertigo (I literally couldn't move my head) and eventually I had to throw up.. it all happened in the matter of a few minutes, ten tops
Any guesses to why this might have happened? Not really that important to me since I don't smoke weed anymore but I have always wanted to understand why

maybe this time you smoked loads like you did with your anxiety prescription medication, but didnt have the anxiety medication so you had a panic attack and anxiety which made you feel sick? and then be sick

Mhh that could be an interesting theory but tbh I was loaded on Xanax, Valium and Ativan, I had been drinking and on top of that I smoked.. I felt very calm so I don't think it was a panic attack, I just felt incredibly sick to my stomach, like one minute I was fine and the next I was sick.. at this point I just think I must have a sensitive stomach
Thanks for your answer!

when I was younger, I could not combine weed with alcohol. I would get sick, also in a matter of minutes, after experiencing that I didn't mix those two for a really long time
now 20y later I haven't had trouble with that anymore

The alcohol may have been to blame, benzos with weed lead to a state of complete zen for me whereas adding alcohol will turn me into a walking vomit generator. Weed on its own isn't for everybody, and you may just be somebody who can only use it in the amounts you did with benzos present. Getting your hands on some CBD or CBN to cut your weed with, or just making super low dosed tincture/gummies may be the move for you if you want to continue exploring THC while circumventing the adverse effects of taking too much, which perfectly align with what you described.
