Nausea and Mdma - Mega Merged

I have searched pretty much every website on the internet trying to find an answer to this question, but I can't find one so I wonder if anyone can help.

The first time I took ecstasy I spontaneously vomited, without warning and without any feelings of nausea leading up to it. In fact, before I was sick I felt incredible, and then after the vomiting finished I felt fine again too. The same thing happened again at the weekend. I was sitting outside, waiting for a taxi, and I vomited without warning, then afterwards I felt fine as if nothing had happened.

I know girls are a lot more likely to feel sick whilst on ecstasy (well, a lot of my female friends say they do whereas I've never spoken to a bloke who does) but I was wondering whether anyone else suffers from these sudden episodes of ecstasy-induced vomiting? Or whether anyone can explain why it happens?
 
Having read from somewhere on here i believe that there is a bunch of nerves in the stomach that are especially sensitive to the effects of seratonin. cue the lovely butterfly feelings sometimes :)
 
I've actually had this happen before. I was leaning against the railing on a balconey looking at a lake while coming up, when out of nowhere, I got this bubbly feeling in my stomach then bam, throw up. Was strange cause I did not feel nauseous at all, neither before puking nor afterwards.
 
Happened to me the other night. was outside smoking a cigarette and dancing feeling really good then blahh.

i've read that somewhere aswell.
 
Laury this is actually pretty common.

I expect you will find it affects males just as much females.

Some people will never be affected by it, some will suddenly find it develops after a few months of using and others always get it.

I believe it is dose related however the dose that sets it off in different people will differ.

I do vomit at times and every time it has been when I have had either very strong pills or a higher dose than normal.

This happened to me a few days ago, it was weird. I didn't mind it at all, i didn't even feel nauseate. Just stood up and BLAHHHHHHHH.....like that.
 
I have actually never gotten sick while under the effects of mdma, but it is extremely common for people to feel ill and actually throw up while they are using.

To be honest though, it would be really weird to just randomly throw up without any feeling of nausea at all. Or maybe you did feel nauseous, you were just too high to know that's what it was. It could have felt like something different such as the anxiety of coming up.
 
yeah it is pretty much out of the blue.

One moment your cool and next your spewing and the next you have forgotten all about it.

Sometimes I will try fighting it. and sometimes i win.
 
aren't ginger roots suppoesd to help wit that? or is it just wit nausea?
i dont wanna randomly puke at a big event or smoethin. that'd suck :T
 
Ginger Root will help with nausea, but I don't think it has the ability to prevent you from throwing up completely.

I once read somewhere that throwing up is mainly psychological, so if you take nausea out of the picture you have a better chance of not throwing up.
 
One time I popped two 3d purple hearts and on the come up I got a really huge rush and I threw up quickly with out warning it was strange but I think it was just to much of a rush for me to handle because afterwards I was fine and able to enjoy my roll. I know girls that puke every single time they do tabs. Recently me and a friend did a couple tabs and about 4 hours after we popped our last he got up to go to bed and he got a rush and puked then nearly collapsed it was really weird.
 
I've never thrown up while on MDMA, but I know what the original poster is talking about. Sometimes when I'm coming up, I get this funny feeling in my stomach. It's not a nauseated, sick feeling; but it's more of that weird feeling that my stomach could suddenly turn inside out without warning.
 
When I first starting using MDMA I used to vomit every time, the stomach always warned me beforehand though. It went away eventually, guess the body gets used to it after a while.

I can remember stomping away at a house party once, in my own little world, feeding off the music. Then suddenly my legs and feet felt wet. Turns out the girl dancing nex to me spontaneously vomited, she also said she didn't feel nausous or anything first, just kind of all came out.

Guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. :(
 
I've only ever had this once. Think it might have been because I drank a little too much water though. Silly bugger, I know.

to op: it happens to me quite often. it can be a bit of a nuisance, especially when you're in a club and it comes up unexpectedly. try not to worry about it tho as it is fairly common.
 
That's only happened to me one time.
I decided to get up early and roll during the day on a day off once. I took 3 Orange dancing stick men (in 04, I think) first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I started feeling it coming on and then I felt like I was about to puke. I just made it to the bathroom on time and was rolling really hard afterward. Never happened before or since, but I am still wary enough to be prepared... just in case.
 
Thank a lot everyone...it's certainly put my mind at ease. It really is awful when it happens in the middle of the club. First time it happened it was when I was in the club, but last weekend I managed to swallow it back down (the most disgusting feeling EVER) and then when it eventually happened about two/three hours later I had made my way outside.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Cheers for the advice!
