Natural Synesthesia

I also have "natural" synesthesia. I have see letters and numbers as having specific colors, as well as time is in a fixed location, including the hours of the day, the 12 month calender, and a general timeline for years. Most of those also have colors associated with them.

I remember a few changes while tripping. The one I remember the most is opening up my phone to type a message on the QWERTY keyboard and all of the letters floated up in their respective colors and were glowing. Besides that, my synesthesia just became more intense, as in the colors were stronger.

Also, while I don't have any synesthestic responses to music while sober, I do see colors while listening to music while tripping, though I'm guessing that's just the LSD...

I am pretty neutral when I am tripping. I have significant synthesia audio/ visual with colors, patterns, etc... and I have a slight enhancement, but no significant differences.

I have not been "diagnosed" but have had random synesthetic flashes in the past. For me they are almost impossible to describe. It's as if to embolden or reinforce an idea my mind for a moment looks at said idea in all letters numbers or colors, or a combination of these elements. I have only caught it very rarely in the process but it is magnificent. A friend has described his as the brain "overclocking". Only experienced this sober.

In my strongest episodes I've correlated the days of the week with their prismatic colors, indeed, I've felt that I had understood the color of time. But that's episodic. If you're curious, it always goes something analogous to:

Sunday White to yellow Monday yellow to green Tuesday green to orange Wednesday orange to red Thursday red to purple Friday purple to blue Saturday blue to black then a color eclipse starts it over again.

Weird stuff when I'm in a normal head.

I get something like this but it's more like seeing sounds that look like CEVs (closed eye visuals) except that I'm completely sober.

i have mild natural synaesthesia that exists as an evolutionary schema to help me think or describe abstract concepts faster.

I see a rainbow when someone says MDMA
I describe camels as 'brown' tasting
and marlboro's as 'grey' tasting

I've only experienced real synaesthesia out of tripping of many things with 'fire' white on white LSD with 3 Tabs taken. My friends, all of us LSD naive, tripped hard off of one tab.
I tasted metal within 5 minutes and playing guitar for the first time ever was interesting because sounds flanged all around me or appeared to come from inanimate objects or people. Playing with notes and sound effects each brought such a flood of colors. Not that I haven't seen visuals on hundreds of other experiences, these were mentally correlated with stimuli!
