Rock's global icons, Bon Jovi, return to Australia in December with a series of gigantic stadium shows as part of The Circle world tour. Bon Jovi will play Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne.

The Circle tour will see the band spend much of the next two years on the road, performing a staggering 135 shows in 30 countries. This brand new stadium stage production coming to Australia is one of the biggest sets ever to be seen in this country. Powered by 800,000 watts of sound and containing close to 10,000 pounds of high definition video technology, it will blow fans away!

Having sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans, Bon Jovi is at their best when they’re on the move, and that’s truer now than ever before. The November 10th, 2009 release of Bon Jovi’s new album, The Circle, and the band’s subsequent world tour, provides a powerful reassertion of Bon Jovi’s commitment to the hard-hitting rock & roll that has been the band’s indelible signature since it began more than 26 years ago.

Tour Dates:

Wednesday 8 December - Subiaco, Perth
Saturday 11 December - Etihad Stadium, Melbourne
Tuesday 14 December - Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Friday 17 December - Sydney Football Stadium

You can buy tickets to Brisbane or Sydney at Ticketek. Currently the Visa presale is on but it ends Monday the 5th of December at noon. General public goes on sale at 9am on the 8th of July!! There was a local resident presale at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday. That's when I got my Platinum tickets!!!

Platinum - $199.90
Gold - $149.90
Silver - $99.90

Pretty steep! But then you need to add on the $15.75 transaction fee plus $20 if you purchase through the Visa presale.....

So who else is going?????? Bon Jovi is one of my not so secret guilty pleasures. I LOVE them! I saw them in Sydney a couple of years ago but can't wait to see them rock a stadium!!! I REALLY hope they play Bed of Roses. It's my funeral song and they didn't play it last time so fingers crossed!

Haha, will do. Last time I went with my mate and we were surrounded by 40 something groups of ladies. A couple of late 20's blokes that would look more at home in a footy scrum really stood out! This time I'm taking my girlfriend. I'm sure she just wants to stop all the cougers getting their hands on me... sorry, laying their hands on me.
