hey I am new but have been reading for a while.

I have kidney stones and was given dilaudid ( Canadian generic version)
Whenever i take the oral dose I get extreme vomiting for 24hrs, my question is that if I take my 4 mg dose every 4 hrs nasally will this effect be lessened? and if so would I keep to same dose?

Thanks for input!

I don't see how it would. Increasing both your dose and speed of onset I would expect to increase the nausea.

Try lowering your dose or adding in an antiemetic like dimenhydrinate or meclizine.

Yeah snorting it would just make you get higher quicker and would result in more vomiting...

Try getting something like promethazine, really helps with nausea.

Thanks. It was just so much easier in hospital when they could push gravol! i might try to bare the pain for a while. I hate vomiting!:(
