Misc nasal sprays vs insufflation

So lately I've been toying with making nasal sprays with water soluble drugs as opposed to snorting.
Are nasal sprays more effective at conserving drugs? As opposed to snorting or popping, because it has greater surface area etc?
Also I've been considering making one with tramadol for when I run out..would this work at all since tramadol must go through the liver?

Nasal sprays are awesome.

They do allow the drug in question to be used more thoroughly due to keeping the passage moist.

It also prevents irritation to the nasal passages that would otherwise most likely happen with dry powder.

The hard part with most drugs is getting enough of the drug in less sprays to be effective enough.

I have a nasal spray (originally for allergies but now empty and I could easily clean and re-fill). Oxycodone is soluble in water, so if I dissolved it in clean water and used the nasal spray instead of insufflating the dry powder...would this work better??

With suboxone I just put a little water on the spoon dissolve and sniff it up. It's disgusting, but you get used to it.

It probably does. There isn’t a study for most drugs.

I think it would be fairly negligible in terms of bio availability. But it would absorb much more quickly and like jay said its less irritating. although ive never really had any discomfort from snorting opiates myself

Street grade black tar powder is highly irritating...

Cant say ive ever had tar/tar powder. Only ever been nice white/tan powder for me :D

Is it actually less irritating for you if you dissolve it? or does it just subside more quickly?

It’s a heap load less irritating. You still have heaps of acetic acid... And dry acetic acid OMG...
