Okay so I got in a car wreck back in june and my doc tossed me 45 5/500 vic's.

I was cleaning out my medicine cabinet and found the old bottle, and upon closer inspection it seems I have "1" refill left (?!?!?!).

Would it be sketch to call in this refill 5 months after the original fill date?

It says it MUST be refilled by 12/24/12 (exactly 6 months later) - its 11/23/12 right now so I still have a month.

I'm sure if it was ibuprofen or some B/S this would be no prob, but would my pharmacy be phoning my doc over a (rather petty) narcotic script refill this long after it was originally filled?

I want my hydro's dammit! :)

I live in Australia so its probably different here but if the script is not out of date the chemists don't even question it.

Don't see nothin to worry about if it says on the bottle you've got a month than you've got a month.

If anyone questions you just bullshit them about pain and you should be good.

^We are not here to help people bullshit a pharmacist.

Cone - We don't do questions about refilling scripts because it would just be speculation. We can't know how that particular pharmacy/pharmacist will respond and we don't even know where you live. For example, where I live they don't generally like to give out refills of a controlled med without contacting the doctor if it's been more than 5 days since your last fill should have run out, unless the script said "take as needed". 6 months is a long time. Who knows what they will do, it might be fine, or they might refuse or call the doctor. Sorry. Please PM me if you have any questions.
