Worst case scenario. I don't know if she is going to make it. If love can make her live she will be fine. Unfortunately reality has a decided bias towards death in untimely ways.

She's having surgery in 4 hours to go in and try to get local control of the infection. She's awake. We are hanging out about to smoke some fetty

Man she's in a lot of pain today. Having your chest cracked open will do that I guess. I know bringing her drugs is a bad call but that is what she wants. So many ways this can go badly outside the health type aspects. But alas I'd expect her to do it for me

Man, what a tragic situation, my heart goes to you two.
But yes, I also think that bringig her drugs in her current state is a terribly bad idea, so was that one:

I sure understand her pain and overall suffering, seeking relief in such situation is the natural response to it and it's totally normal that she wants drug to numb the agony, but with her scenario you should think about oral pharma opiods, if you can get them, and forget about illegal street drugs. I know getting real oxy is hard and expensive, plus if you use fentanyl you sure have a decent tolerance, so maybe buying some methadone could be an option, for what I understand it's not that hard to find someone willing to sell takehomes.
Anyway, even with pharma meds, you absolutely need to be very very careful with what you do, and dose conservatively whatever you finally get.

I wish you the best in this sad moment.
Good luck and may God help you.

Well it's not like that aren't giving her opiates. She's on hourly dilauded injections. And Ativan and oral oxycodone. She just has a huge tolerance. They put her on continous ketamine

That's great the surgery was successful! Pleased to hear it. Thats a big deal. Probably gonna have to moderate her lifestyle now. But then do you want a working heart or a habit? Hope you're both doing ok.
