So today i started my usual day, turn on the vape, hop in the shower, Only to discover that my vape failed to heat up, the light is on, but its not heating up or making its usual happy buzz.........WTF IS WRONG!!!!!????? can i get replacement parts or what?, i dont know the manufacturer.

it looks like

but with no temp read out. but its the same basic design....

i just don't know what to do and i'm heart broken/pissed off:X
any suggestions would be appreciated .

I used to have a similar no-name chinese Vapor Bros knock off vape. It lasted about 8 months before breaking, and was never that good to begin with.

As we've both learned, these no name vapes are not worth the investment. I understand how you would be hesitant to buy a new one given how much you paid for this, but unless you're handy with with basic electronic engineering that's probably your only choice.

I promise you that if you bite the bullet and buy a genuine Vapor Bros it will be the best drug investment you will make.

is that a vapor bors knock off? or a vapor bros? sorry to hear about this. if it isnt vapor bros then i doubt there is much you can do unless you have the info from the manufacturer.
i know you prob would like to fix it n dont wanna hear it but if you decide to get a new vape i would recomend the hotbox vape as it is only about 150 for the basic ones n alittle more money for the ones with sick ass art off thier website. i have had my hotbox for 4-5 years n i know 3 other people who have had hotboxes all are about as old as mine i think two are older and one is a little younger but not by much.
anyways man you could try n take it apart n tinker around with it. i mean if it isnt workin you arent gonna fuck anything up more. maybe you could just wait a bit n give it a couple days or a week and try it again n hope something was loose or something i dunno. if that doesnt work then i would tinker around inside before throwin it away

good luck

yeah i am definitely going to do some form of surgery on my vape, see if maybe a connection fried out or something....

I didn't pay very much as i got it second hand from a buddy who rarely used it. The fucking thing has no logo or anything to help me find a manufacturer and my buddys a pot head with 0 memory.
i have been giving it almost constant use for all of 09 so far, probably could not take the abuse.

150 isn't that much and if it really lasts for years then it's probably worth it.

^^ i swear by my hotbox man. they have little smaller box ones that are 150. the regular size ones are 175 usually and if you check out hotboxvapors.com they have lots of sick designs, but i dunno about thier price.

good device though, real good

yea i know there websit is pricey thats why i only suggest there website if you want one of the artistic ones.

i have never seen a head shop sell the regular hotboxes for more than 175

i had a hotbox vaporizer and similar problem
it won't heat up (even after 20+ min) and no buzzing sound
i decided to open up and found faulty cable

i think you are better off to take it back to the shop/place for POSSIBILITY exchange if they allow
otherwise you have to mail it back to the factory (make sure you clean it too)

^never had any problems with my hotbox, that sux man. hot box is a good company though just keep the pamphlet that comes whith it when purchased if not all thier info is on thier website and the do fast shippin

Motherfucking vaporwarehouse sent that shit already and the mail came but i wasn't home, luckily my step parents weren't either.
Fucking lame because i had them send it to a different address but for some reason they sent it here.....lame....not like im gonna get in trouble but its just gay that this had to happen my mom got the package slip....now i have to do some talking...maybe she'll forget about it. I'll just make up some bull shit and shell be happy

lucky you... i had two of them LOL
it was worth the investment as volcano was NOT an option (600+CDN)
i had bud resin on it so i don't think it is safe over the US border (i am canadian)

^^ yea but even if there was bud resin in the hose, as long as it wasnt the hose that was broke you could send the box back across the border to get fixed, and if you just broke the hose/whip them those come replacable on the internet easy
