I'm trying to figure out the iambic pentameter or whatever, and it isn't working.

I'm trying to figure out the simple flow of setup and punchline, and it isn't working (for me).

Logic fails......which is perhaps my downfall.

I told it onstage tonight in the East Village.

The other comics loved it; the regular audience, unfortunately, either was offended by the reference to 9/11 (it's IN NYC, after all). . . or didn't understand it.

I'll try it a bunch of times this weekend - I happen to love it, despite the fact that it almost definitely won't do consistently well enough in order to crack "the rotation."

As an aside, I enjoy "pre-viewing" my germs of jokes on Bluelight - you guys tend to be more open-minded (and more intelligent) than the general club-attending population.
