Heroin My Poppy Plants?...

Just curious. :D

I planted poppy's a year ago. They came in a box of wild flowers.. They look useable for use....The pods have black spots on them, leaves fallen off...and they just look like they are oozing out tar....They are small pods, they had red flowers..and they just look like they are screaming to be used to me...I mean..black substance all over them...I split them and they ooze white out a little, soo could this be a indication of a potential good time?..8) I would think it is,..all signs point to yes. I keep reading different stories online..I dunno, I mean if the plant is producing this, it should be what I think it is..no? No matter what type of poppy, they all have some form of this (heroin)toxic substance, right? So if my theory is correct..... I have a good sticky (black) situation on my hands. Right?
