My personal S.O.S.....

I just wanted to let everyone know that I had a very short relapse followed by a methadone and suboxone taper. I am still taking subs but I plan to taper over the next 5 days to .25mgs. My taper was very short and I hope to avoid most of the acutes. I just hope that I can find the inner strength and some fullfilling and time consuming hobbies to take the place of my dope habit. I am very positive about my plan and I am working on myself as a whole. I want to not only stop doing dope but discover who I truly am and was meant to be. Thanks to everyone for posting and I will keep everyone updated.
 
Goo music and driving always helped me when I was going through withdrawals. Idk what it is about driving but I makes me feel so much better

I totally agree, it's like while I'm driving I only feel 25% of withdrawals. Being at home is the worst, if I'm out doing stuff it feels so much better but driving is the best (besides a hot shower of course). It's like being out in the world, moving around at high speed... it feels good. :)

don't beat yourself up about it too much, it happens. what matters is your ability to get back on your feet after a slip up.
