Chair.
Step on back to forward again.
My head is aching, tension's building.
Never thought I'd get this far.
And I'm pretty damned sure I'll be thrice as suprised
when I fall back, tumble down
and step back on this here
weakening step sometime
in the near future.

Feels like its cracking
beneath my
feet as we
speak.

Yet what if I were
not to fall back, ever again?
Take another step forward from this
step onward and never step back again?
Could I find some solid ground,
break some new earth, just
keep pushing and pushing
the threshold, just keep
on walking?

The secret is to
keep moving forward.
The past is for memory,
but I'm living in it, and
I'm not getting any
younger.

I move just to feel
the friction in my life, to
feel alive, but this back and
fourth and round and round,
this endless cycles, killer
seasons, blasted figure
eights I can never
seem to escape.

I got back on my feet,
I got to keep on walking forward.
I got stuck in a point, took an old angle,
got to straighten it out and
travel a straight line.

I've got to come around,
catch a new angle, straight out,
got to break some new ground.

Feels like its cracking
beneath my
feet as we
speak.

I can see it now.

Spontanious combustion
of bridges I tried for years to burn.
Rising like a phoenex with a roar
as ashes fall like snow on the
beautifully broken ground
of my new earth.
