Location
In an igloo made of asbestos and chicken-wire.
I did a whole series of these pieces months and months ago...I posted all the others, but I only just found this last one in my bag this morning. :)

I wonder how I'd feel,
to spend my day at work?
Industrious, a part of something, a creature with purpose
An efficient machine,
With no cause for sorrow
and no use for great joy.
My little legs carrying me,
One of the world's tiny soldiers,
To protect something greater than the sum of its parts.
I wonder what this type of happiness feels like,
Happiness without ego?
a mind without borders, and this concrete knowledge of who I am.
Freedom through oppression,
and no desire for anything more.
No need for sentiment, or self-justification.
It'd be a dangerous kind of beauty
in my life as an ant.

Wrote this one down and stuck it on my wall
I like the way you write Raz
Thankyou for being a poet
