Me and my gf shot up an op 80 for the first time shooting op. this was last night. this is copy and pasted from a different thread:

Me and my girlfriend did this yesterday. we didnt follow this guide but someone else cooked it for us (she skipped alot of these steps, and she used an oven instead of microwave). My GF had a real bad reaction after IVing it. Her whole face swelled up and she said her throat was closing up too. Her eyes got really red, she took sum bendryl and it didn't seem too bad lasgt night, it mostly went away. but today she woke up and went to the doctor and she has pink eye in both eyes. This HAS to be an allergic reaction to the OP (either shooting it or just the OP in general) we've done OP before by taking it and this never happened. someone have any input on this???? shes in alot of pain and boh her eyes are realllly red. we are both extremely confused on why shooting the OP caused this. thanks BL!

That's not much help. Pink eye can be caused by an allergic reaction, but shes done op before and oc tons of times. This is really weird because we KNOW it happened from shooting the OP, something in the OP gel?

First of all, it would be very hard for anyone on this forum to really tell you what is happening. All we can offer you are theories based on the information you have provided, and in total absence of any clinical observation. You should first and foremost be discussing this with a doctor.

If it's legally possible to tell the doctor that she did an IV injection, I would do so. It's not likely conjunctivitis because this was a very rapid onset with other symptoms; but it could possibly be endophthalmitis. Contaminants in an injection can enter the small vessels of the eye and irritate its inner lining. The level of irritation you describe travelling upward to her throat, face, etc. is consistent with a contaminant, either biological (like bacteria) or chemical.

Because of how fast this happened, I would suspect something chemical. I would ask the cook exactly how he/she prepared it. Keep in mind that the drug itself may have been cut with something harmful before it was even cooked.

If your gf experiences any sudden changes in her vision or eye pain, get to the emergency room.

Yeah, from your description and as someone who gets recurrent conjunctivitis it doesn't really sound like that. Most likely she got the reaction from something the solution was prepared with, or something on the needle perhaps, than the actual pill itself.
As Foreigner said, I know this differs depending on your country but if you can do it without getting into legal trouble, ask a doctor about it.

All we can do is speculate over the Internet. Please see a doctor if you're very concerned. Hope she feels better soon.

I don't really think TDS is the right place to have this thread...

You really shouldn't be injecting the OP pills.

This. I think it's either an allergic reaction to the fillers or she was already carrying the virus. But HTHR is right, we can't actually determine what may have happened, so if it gets any worse I'd seek medical attention for her.

For now I'm moving this to BDD.

There are actually 3 types of "pink eye": viral, bacterial, or allergic conjunctivitis. As Foreigner mentioned, there is also endophthalmitis, an inflammation of the internal coats of the eye.

People can get an allergic reaction to something they've done before, (in fact it's actually fairly common for certain things not to give a noticeable allergic reaction the first few times, and injecting it may bring on a much more severe reaction than taking it orally), or there could have been some contaminant/bacteria in the shot or something.

It's hard to know exactly what caused this, but suffice it to say I would NOT inject these any more. I'm assuming you guys didn't use a micron filter either?

If it doesn't rapidly improve I would go back to the doctor or go to a different doctor, and be completely honest with them if at all possible. Not to scare you, but I had a friend who something similar happened to him while injecting drugs, it started out like pink eye and because he was just sent home and didn't get it properly treated he ended up having to have a cornea transplant.

dont shoot the fukkin ops and i believe she just got it a dam pill wont do that ur lucky u aint colapse ur fav vain!!!! that would be a tragedy
