My friend just died of a GBL overdose

I havn't got all the details as yet. I can tell you that it was his drug of choice. The only other thing he used was pills. He didn't even drink much.

But he always spasticed himself with the shit. His way of using it was to get totally wankered and incohearent and G out for a few hours then wake up and do it again.

Stupid stupid idiot. Didn't give a fuck about who he may leave behind, and now here we are

very sad to hear ...

for someone experienced with the stuff to die just proves that it's a very unsafe drug .. I have said before it's just not worth the risk.Europe has had alot of deaths because of this crap.

the only good thing that can come from this is that people hopefully will think twice about consuming this unpredicatable drug.

I have never tried this drug for this reason, just like I was offered PMA and refused because of all the deaths.

because mdxx is rare these days could it be the gbl was of more pure/higher quality and this is why this tragedy happened ?

theres alot of questions to ask but I wont go into it ..

Condolences for your loss Middleway. :(

I've removed a variety of off topic or otherwise unnecessary posts. The thread can remain as a condolence thread and a reminder of the dangers associated with illicit drug use, however, if it returns to a verbal stoush of no real relevance then it will be closed.

I just thought I would update this thread to say that he had been drinking on the night, however no more heavily than others there who used the same stuff as far as I know and he was drinking no more heavily than he had on other occasions of using G...
It just appears totally random and nobody can really come up with anything out of the ordinary. Could take up to a year for the coroner to release a finding but I can't imagine any new revelations will come up. I think what it will find is that a combination of GHB and Alcohol suppressed his GCS to a point that he couldn't maintain an airway and he suffocated. Basically death by misadventure.

He was a trashbag but he had done it 1000 times before with no problems. The reason they stopped using GHB as a general anesthetic is that it was so unpredictable...maybe this is the face of it, I don't know..

Won't be updating this thread anymore. Take care everyone and thanks for your thoughts and wish's.
