a shadow i see in my periphial vision
turn a moment-
and look back to find
things break and fall away a moment
from saving and
i'm getting older too.
things are starting to change. the tide
is washing the shore away,and making
new waves. that break on the shores of
thailand in your name.
there is so much death, and so rebirth.
in this town
i confront old demons and wonder of closure
wonder what shores i will be on
oceans apart from everything
i am lost in this swirling thing
humanity
a lost soul
observe silently touch
move on.
keep the memory of the witness.
we never find home
but when we see it in the eyes of another-
the whole world looks like
home for a time.
we are wanderers not meant for names
just these faces we wear
these eyes that tell of pain and strength light and fearlessness, whatever it may not be worth
