My First Post..... Blue

Blue
If I never gazed upon you
I would not know the color blue.
It would look too much like other colors
Bleeding out of broken flowers.
Golden stems on every tulip.
Purple petals crying crimson.
The sky would always be a sunset
Covered with rainbows half full.
Diamond tears light your face,
As all colors melt away.
Black and white except for two
Eyes shimmering a crystal blue.

I would love to hear constuctive critisism... please feel free to tell what sucks about it =) As I would love to become a better poet someday.

well man, im not much good at critique, I really liked your poem but i dont enjoy picking holes in peoples work so all im going to say is, if you want to be a better poet, 1: read lots of poetry (youve come to the right place :D ) and 2: write write write
