my doctor is trying to kill me on my birthday

lol, dont mean to laugh but that made me chuckle...

lol, tht's cool man. No organs were hit. Was my upper right shoulder area.

My birthday on the 28th was when I was stabbed, but getting the hydromorph literally made it worthwhile.

Man, this is why I am glad I am off benzodiazepines. Have you thought about cutting your usage back so you can stock up? It wouldn't be impossible to taper down to 2mgs over the course of a few months, that way you don't have to feel completely reliant on a doctor to keep you from dying from a seizure. It will give you a sense of autonomy that is needed. No doctor should EVER hold a benzodiazepine script over an anxiety patient, especially when the patient takes them daily. The only word that can categorize that behavior is sadism.

However, did you take more than you were prescribed a few times? It happens. Some people do that, including me when I was on clonazepam. Yet, pharmacies commit errors as well. They're operated by humans.

I'm sure you will be fine. You can always go to the E.R. (it would be unfortuante if you had to, and if you did, you could always sue your doctor so he picks up the bill) to get some refills. Good luck.

I never knew there were states that didn't allow refills on Schedule IV drugs, that really sucks. Its standard here for them to be written with 2 refills.

Tommy, if paying for doctors visits is a problem for you they might mail you prescriptions. I get scripts mailed to me every month for Schedule II meds, and then I just gotta take the script to the pharmacy. It saves me a lot of money since I don't have to pay for a doctors visit every month.

I asked my doctor because of summer break if she could write me refills, and she said if she could she would but wasn't able to. She was retiring so clearly she wasn't out to get me or make me spend extra money or anything. Plus, I have medical insurance anyway. Thanks Tommy, nice to know that I'm not just getting screwed either haha.

I don't have a psychiatrist at my college this year, and there is a shortage of psychs in the area. I found a legit doctor for my benzo taper over thanksgiving break when I was home. He mails me my scripts when I am away, and I see him when I am home. When I was at the pharmacy picking up the valium and lamictal, I mentioned that I had refills on the lamictal and the pharmacist even said "yea you could have refills for the lamical, but def not for valium." My doctor isn't money hungry, so if he is giving me 3 refills on the lamictal I am sure he would also do that for the valium if he could.
