My dad is taking some meds and I needed some help...

My dad has been having some really bad tooth aches and will have to get his root canal fixed and something else pulled out... Well the point is that the dentist apparently precribed him some meds and I was wondering what these are. Know of any these? (Its whats printed on the side of bottle)
VEETIDS (PEN VK) 500MG TA (GENE)
and
APAP W/COD 30MG TABLET (TEVA)
Id appreciate any help you guys give me... Thanks a lot!

um, I thought you said your dad had a terrible toothache...I do not condone the misappropriation of scripted drugs from their rightful and intended recipients, especially when they really need them.
However, maybe the story of your dad and his toothache are fictional, who knows...maybe you don't even have a dad, maybe you are an alien or a baby hatched in a test tube, in which case I might as well tell you: with little or no opiate tolerance you will need about three 30mg codeine tabs to feel anything, five or six if you have some kind of tolerance.

Well my dad really is taking this stuff.But he really doesnt enjoy popping pills or anything for that matter. And nope, Ive never tried an opiate. But, I am fairly big, does that make a difference? Maybe Ill just pop 4... Hmn..

Maybe you should wait until he doesn't need them anymore...Then abuse them to your hearts delight.

Don't rip off your dad if he is using his meds, that is not cool. Still, if he's like my parents, he will take a quarter of the pills and forget about the rest in a medecine cabinet, in which case it would be a shame to let them go to waste.
Codeine is a VERY WEAK opioid, so you should not judge any others by it... that would be sorta like judging cocaine/meth by caffeine/ephedrine. Still it can be fun. I am 180lbs and would need a minimum of 6 of those pills to feel anything; ideally I would take 10. Still I am naturally resistant, so if I were you I would start at four and move up from there. If you take to much, you will itch like a fiend and possibly get nauseous; it will be unpleasant.
You don't want to take too many of these though, that could cause liver damage. They probably contain 500mg acetaminophen, meaning you shouldn't take more than 8 in a day... this is the official back-of-the-pill-bottle caution for everyone though, as you are big you can probably exceed this by a at least a factor of 50% without any real risk.

If this is a one-time-deal you can get away with 'overdosing' on APAP .. but if you're an opiate virgin you shouldn't need to..
And yeah, wait until your dad feels better - adults are well known for not taking more of their meds then they have to... I guess you grow foolish with age, 'eh?
