Hey, I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 weeks now, and he told me that he used to do Speed on a regular basis.(7 lines a day) He has since decreased his intake when he started going out with me. He tells me that he does it prolly like 1 a week now. Which is good. ok
1) What are the side effects of speed?
2) Can he be possibly addicted, but not know?
3) What does "Skitzing" mean?
4) Can it lead to Depression? and what are the Bad side effects???

i suggest that if this is the case (you want him to stop) you get out of the relationship now because he will only stop on his terms and this will cause a lot of problems for the both of you down the road. Save yourself a lot of tears and heartache. You may not be able to save him, but you can save yourself a lot of time by not wasting it on trying to change someone.

You are completely wasting your time. If you don't want a boyfriend who frequently uses drugs, then don't date one.
You may possibly "change" him temporarily, but I 100% guarantee that unless he later decides on his own to chill, he's going to go back to using as much as he was and keep it behind your back.
And if you think you will know if he starts using a lot, you're fooling yourself. From personal experience I can tell you that it's actually not that hard to hide a daily heroin habit. Not from my employers. Not from my co-workers. Not from my family. Not from my friends. Not from my girlfriend. Not from anyone. Hiding drug use is so easy it's not even funny.

You can't make someone change, so don't try. You're boy friend is a drug addict, so either get used to it or dump him. No matter how much he loves you it's wrong to make someone change for YOU.

if he's doing only 1 line a week--then i'd say it won't really be an issue of interference in your relationship. if he has it under control then don't stress. and for your sake and his--i hope he does have it under control.
as for effects and stuff--check out erowid for "technical" information.
if you really think he has a problem or you want to know (from my own firsthand experience) what meth can do to a person--email me @ [email protected] or aim starlightgemini9

hope everything works out :)

It sounds like you want him to quit, so I'm going to shoot this one over to the darkside.
