First some background, ex-opiate addict (oxys mainly) now 9-months clean weaning off suboxone. I take ~1-1.5 subs a day now but yesterday I took 2 because I was feeling some anxiety. Which leads me to my health issues, currently I'm dealing with some slight-to-moderate anxiety problems, I've had acid reflux since I was a kid which flares up now and again I just keep tums on me to treat it. I'm seeing a neurologist now for my headaches, I get tension and/or cluster headaches chronically as in every other day on a good week. I also get migraines 1-5 times per month, not sure whats causing them as there has been no pattern of food or anything else causing them.
I get some MDPV, I did it before a couple years ago and it was bad after the comedown I had some serious anxiety issues so I had some alprazolam handy for it this time. I've only rolled a couple times but I've noticed that my body (mainly my stomach) rejects MDMA, I will projectile vomit after going into a panic attack which the last time I couldn't hold down even with baking soda and water in a shot glass ~10 min after consumption (I spewed it up ~30 minutes after I ate them, wasted most of it got a very weak roll).
I figured I'd snort 10mg and I'd be all good, 5min after I'm flying geeked ready to have some fun but oh no my sensitive stomach acts up, I pop a tums which helps turn it from "I'm gonna puke" to "as long as I don't move to fast I won't puke". Night goes on hours later I'm coming down and my stomach hurts BAD, I decide to puke to see if it's acid... straight acid burned my whole throat and mouth. I go for the baking soda and water that cools it but I'm still in pain... I remember having this reaction to oxycodone when I ate too much, my Lower Esophageal Sphincter is locked shut which means it's too late to take prilosec or xanax because it won't make it past my stomach.
I do the dumb thing to my body but the smart thing in the end and I do another small bump and hit the computer to do some research. Read a scholarly article about rectal & sublingual administration of prilosec (omeprazole) are faster & as effective so I do both. I then start reading about the LES and Achalasia which is what it's called when you have a condition of your LES locking up, as I've had happen to me many times with alcohol, certain foods, and especially drug salts in the HCl or crystalline form.
This is when I realize that I'd been prescribed to a new medication since none have worked to suppress my headaches and it's a calcium channel blocker, the same medicine that's used to treat AND could have prevented, Achalasia AKA my stomach is locked up and you're gonna feel like shit until it stops. I read another article on how this drug has been shown to have 54% bioavailability intranasally so I rinse my sinuses out with a saline solution and half of a crushed up pill since oral BA is around 5-25%. This helps subside my stomach from puking and pumping acid constantly to just bearable but extremely uncomfortable weak stomach feeling that we all hate, I'm not sure if I'm super sensitive to norepinephrine and my body releases massive adrenaline to overcompensate or this is just how my body reacts to stress and I'm one of the unlucky few that needs to carry benzos around just incase & make a list of all the things that my body rejects (which is basically anything that can cause anxiety or raise blood pressure or even alcohol.
YOU CAN SKIP TO HERE IF YOU ARE TOO IMPATIENT OR WANT THE RESULTS FIRST:
I figured out that my anxiety has probably been causing constriction of my blood vessels in my LES, as Achalasia is now what I believe to be the actual "cause" of my acid reflux. Also the constriction of blood vessels causing the LES to seize up cause dehydration and if your brain is dehydrated and also experiencing a lack of blood flow from constriction of blood vessels, this will cause tension headaches or in severe cases, such as this one, a migraine.
Evidence: Every experience I've had with panic attacks had mainly to do with my stomach releasing acid and anything I ate drank would be puked up, nothing went down ever.
My migraine medication wouldn't work until 6-8 hours after I took it, I'd usually have to fall asleep and wake up to feel better but I'd always puke up the pill if I didn't fall asleep, leading me to believe the vasoconstriction hit my stomach before my head.
I reacted badly to SNRI's because of the NRI, same thing with my stomach locking up and everything, it's like most things will cause me to have a panic attack but I'm glad I know that I need to make sure my LES isn't gonna get constricted before I take any sort of stim again, as the xanax was useless as I can't snort it without puking uncontrollably under normal circumstances much less with an already weak stomach.
I'm not sure yet if my sensitive stomach causes this anxiety/norepinephrine/adrenaline release but I'm sure it's affected by it. It all makes sense to me even after I've came down and spent a horrible night in a serious state of bad anxiety, high blood pressure, tachychardia, & other side effects related to too much norepinephrine.. I'm just glad I figured this out while accidentally inducing a panic attack I'm lucky the dopamine release was enough to force my brain to figure out the real problems, what the symptoms were, and the root of it all, now I just gotta figure out how to counteract the adrenaline which I'm now convinced is being released to counteract norepinephrine but at a much higher rate without becoming a benzo addict (which I've been considering for a while, trying to take them without getting addicted). I'll do some more research when I feel better I'm still dehydrated & I just wanted to write all this down before I take another bar and get some much-needed sleep.
Sorry if it's written in a very non-condensed form when I wake up I'll make a short and sweet version so people that aren't high can understand it too lol peace thnx for reading comments are welcome constructive criticism only tho until it's revised.
