My advice for come-up anxiety

I like to play my singing bowl or beat the drum during to comeup, usally helps getting a centered mindset before the anxiety has a chance to enter your mind.

not that i get come-up anxiety each time i trip, but if i do get it on LSD, mushrooms or 4acodmt, i like to move around. or even just change the room i'm in / change the music.

with 2ce or 2cb i feel i don't get much anxiety on the come-up, but the come-up makes me feel a bit ill. to combat this, i think it's better to lay relatively still. and take a shower right before it kicks in. and THEN go for a walk.

I found moving can work, but sometimes there is a problem which needs to be directly confronted and moving is merely a way of escape. In this instance it would do well to know how to meditate.

If moving appears to be the best option, then going outside (so long as there isn't an over-abundance of painful stimuli) I have found is ideal.

I seem to avoid "bad" trips by taking enough :)

But moving definitely helps.

Having something to do.

This is very good advice indeed. I think another good strategy is to have a little bit of booze on hand. Maybe just one or two drinks, and if the feelings of anxiety are too intense, have those drinks. Alcohol is probably not the bast anti-anxiety medication ever, but it is the easiest to find.

Having the booze on hand can also ease anxiety just by the knowledge that you have something to help. One downside though is that it can be difficult to drink when your stomach is unsettled, which happens plenty on a number of psychedelics.
