Hey guys,

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered. We were doing nos on the end of a lucy trip and it has run out, I have some mxe. How does mxe feel in relation to NOS? I know they are both dissociatives, but what are their respectively similarities and differences? Would the MXE substitute for a friend who is being a NOS fiend?

Thanks!

imo nothing substitutes for NOS fiends except more nitrous.

I find MXE really cold and detached. I would not mix it with acid. I really wouldn't compare it to n2o as nitrous is just so intense and visual when on lucy, and I haven't found anything else that compares.

^^ seconded, just more n2o.

muvolution, i agree with you but at the tail end of his trip its right time to try something else.

i think he wont be disappointed with low-medium (20-40mg) dose of mxe, it will be very similar to ketamine, more than 50mg will kick you to a totally different headspace of mxe craziness/disorientation, not worthy with LSD imo.

Also, if u your attempt with mxe is to avoid a comedown (if it can even said xists one with n2o) or that lack-of-something-else, then it will work.

The issue is that Nitrous is very short lasting, so you can push the dose very high and get the most out of it - and know that the effects will wear off very quickly if it's too much. With Methoxetamine this is not the case, and you can have your ass kicked for up to 4 hours - not something you really want if you push things too high.

It's still worth a shot, but I'd recommend keeping the dose low. IM or nasal would work best for a shorter duration, but be aware that nasal is quite an inefficient ROA so you'd likely need more. I'd make sure that your friend knows it's going to be a very different experience and not quite as intense, albeit a lot longer - but that the mix should still be awesome :D

Indeed MXE is not Ketamine. IMO better for partying but not at all psychonautic (and Specially with LSD) in nature. ketamine is the way to go. Until next time eheh ;)

My friend and I did MXE at the end of an acid trip once. It just became a dissociative MXE experience instead of an acid trip. They didn't mix, the MXE just took over. Maybe our doses were too high (30-40 mg, light tolerance at the time) but I doubt it. It's not that it was a bad or unpleasant experience, it just wasn't incredibly interesting.

Regarding MXE vs Nitrous, all I can say is that dubstep sounds deep and harmonic to me on MXE while it sounds shallow and boring on nitrous. The reverse goes for progressive metal. I don't know why.

MXE and DPT (100 & 50mg) is wonderful, but I like lots of dissociatives so...

I'd say MXE is no substitute for Nitrous, it's like comparing amphetamine to cocaine... one is short-lasting and "party oriented" and the other is a lot more "heavy duty".
