Mxe Toe Twitches

Hey so lately I've been having these toe twitches, like my toes are waving bye-bye to someone or playing the piano completely involentary all the time within the past 3 days, My Mxe use has been pretty high this past year ranging from 40-50mgs of the bright white fluffy sugary salty textured mxe spread out throughout the day, to 100-200 something mgs of the same mxe spreadout throughout the day with a couple day to a week or so breaks here and there. So I was wondering what this means and how this could be connected to my central nervous system hence putting it in the ADD, I havent seen any other reports of this so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

This might be due to over-activation of D2, which can cause such involuntary movements, similar to or falling within the realm of akathisia. Do like things happen to you whilst on stimulants and/or are you in the midst of withdrawal from any GABAergic substance? Is it associated with an uncomfortable feeling?

I'd cut down usage regardless. MXE isn't that well-known of a substance.

It doesn't really matter how much one has been using a chemical; everyone has there own limit. I've known someone who used to eat shrooms every day for several months without having any problem, then one person who has bad schizo-bipolar symptoms after taking shrooms once a week for two months.

Its been months since I've taken anything stimulating 4-mec and coke, but within the past year I can count the amount of times I've done them on one hand. The only other things I've been doing lately have been xanax and etizolam but I keep those too one to three days a week with week or so breaks inbetween and have never gotten anything close to withdrawl symptoms from them, opiates come into play here and there but I make sure I never go on long enough to get withdrawl and its been about 2 weeks since I last partook, and the occasional kratom. I was doing quite a bit of trytamines earlier in the year but again its been months since that I learned timing is key with them and really have no plans for anything in the near future. No theres nothing uncomfortable about the twitches unless they wiggle to much and give you that cramp where your big toe goes under your middle toe and locks there for a minute, and its only in my left foot. I almost found it amusing at first but now am just curious as to whats going on.

I would guess its a combination of stimulation of various excitory nuero-transmitters via MXE in combination with the beginnings of benzodiazepine withdrawal. One to three days a week can still cause this.

If you stop taking benzos so often it may go away.

MXE is a pretty strong dopamine reuptake inhibitor. At 100-200mg it gets pretty reckless on your nervous system and can act as a very strong stimulant. Twitching etc is a common side effect of these drugs (DRI's).

ADD -> od

the twitch you describe is one of the signs to myself i am having an anxiety attack

mxe did cause me to twitch (not specifically the toes) on the tail end of the experience, in the beginning of my use, but not since those first times

Yea but like 24/7 like someones inside of my foot, going crazy? Not like here and there like consistently, its like all the time since it started? And so then would taking opiates make it worse then I though it would help by maybe calming it down but no. And is there any potential danger to my heart involved with this? I have a naturally kind of high heart rate at 90bpms but thats what the benzos and opiates help keep down.

No, I'm not having anything close to a panick attack again the benzos and opies have kept anything like that at bay, on mxe alone sometimes right after a take too big of a rip of weed but I havent been doing that for that reason.

This is probably a symptom of your benzodiazepine use, not the MXE. Generally twitching on mxe is only for the duration the drug's active in your blood.

Twitching is a well known symptom of narcotic (benzodiazepine/opioid) withdrawal. Tone down your benzo use (read: stop it entirely) and see if it goes away. Taking opiates probably won't help, when they leave your system you'll probably twitch even worse...

How has your sleep been? For me, twitches are a sign I need to sleep more.

My sleeps been pretty good I get the usual 6-8 hours each night even though the times may vary, like a a 20hr span here and there then sleep, but no two, three day excursions. One thing that crossed my mind is drug enduced parkinsonism because it has started in the other foot and occasiaonal finger twiches but I'm thinking that may be a long shot and not to worried because everywhere is saying that when the drugs stop the symptoms stop, which yes theres a good time out on the things that would be causing it coming up. I've also noticed the more active I am the less in your face it is, it becomes almost un-noticable, the first couple days it started I wasnt doing anything but you know standard chillin laying around TV, computer, movies, video games, but I've been a bit more busy so its alot less noticable.
