MXE in WATER or ETHANOL Solution ? How long Will IT Last POTENT ?

Hi Folks,

Background story : Got gram of MXE but no scales at all ATM (i know i know, i had 0001 one but it got destroyed, waiting for shipment)

I wanna solve it in either Water or which is probably better Ethanol so that I can measure my dose pretty accurately.

Now questions:

Is it viable to solve it just in water? (I'm not a big fan of alcohol ? If it's OK, then how long could I store this solution (and in what conditions) b4 it loses potency?

If water is a no no, then would 40% Ethanol vodka would be enough to keep the solution potent for at least a couple of weeks?

Finally, ( ONLY IF I REALLY HAD TO), how long would the solutio remain potent with 95% Ethanol and kept in good conditions (that are...???) ?

Probably best to dissolve it in water with a bit of preservative, like benzyl alcohol or benzalkonium chloride (liquid from antiseptic wipe, 1 drop or so to 100ml)

MXE will remain stable in solution for pretty much forever if it is kept out of UV light and strong acids

No storing it in the DJ booth then?

How about as a solid, are there any particular hazzards to look out for when mxe is stored in it's crystal or powdered form? Should it be refrigerated, frozen or simply kept away from light & air?
