MXE combo for psychedelic therapy

MXE has the ability to take one deep without being emotionally and mentally overwhelming like classic psychedelics can sometimes be, this aspect of MXE can be helpful when going through a difficult time in life with health and other problems. On the other hand, the mental effects of tryptamines can be quite stressful and draining during the experience and can make it difficult to go with the flow, but it usually ends up being cathartic and beneficial in the end especially when able to let go. The tryptamines seem to have more potential for healing and deep inner work.

In that regard I have a question for those that have combined MXE with a tryptamine or LSD. How does MXE affect mental/emotional/anxiety intensity and thought loops? Does it make the psychedelic experience more emotionally neutral and easier to relax and flow with? It can be very difficult to let go and flow with a tryptamine experience when the mind is racing and dwelling on negative things in one's life, but MXE seems to be far less jarring and easier to let go and meld into with it's more relaxed nature. The ego can put up quite a fight when its existence is being threatened by psychedelics and things can get extremely serious and a bit overwhelming when in a bad mindset.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is does this aspect of MXE carry over to the effects of tryptamines when combined to soften their sometimes brutal nature to make it easier to let go, shed the ego, and embrace the experience?

Any input from those with experience would be very much appreciated.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about light recreational dosing. I'm talking deep hyperspace immersion through Stan Grof's psychedelic therapy technique with eyeshades and guided by music (maybe ~120mg MXE + ~40mg 4ACODMT?)

I've had a lot of experience combining 4-ho-DMT with ketamine (both IMd in the same barrel). The few methoxetamine IM experiences I've had have been very ketamine like, so I imagine a similar effect would result from combining it with 4-ho-DMT, which I plan to do in the future.

I do find that a powerful tryptamine experience, the kind you plan to spend in bed, is much easier to deal with using ketamine than without (and of course the experience itself is quite a different animal). In my experience there's far less anxiety and difficult head fuckery, and more head fuck... embracement (search for past ketamine/trypt reports and you'll see). The trick is getting the dosage right. You don't want to use too much of the dissociative or you'll end up with amnesic effects. I'd say 20 - 25 mg of methoxetamine (IM) with a high dose powerful tryptamine will get you where you want. I'm excited now that I have access to methoxetamine to IM it with 4-AcO-DMT and see if it results in a longer version of my psilocin/K experiences. It always ends too soon! Other suspected good tryptamines to combine with methoxetamine (considering their record with ketamine) are DMT, DPT, and probably MET.

It's funny that you mention Grof, as the rebirth experience is a staple of this combo for me. See here

EDIT: You might be able to increase that IM methoxetamine dose depending on whether or not you find it more lucid than ketamine. I just know when I had no ket tolerance increasing the ket dose to 70 mg IM from 50 mg resulted in amnesic effects.

SWIM would not say "mind racing" and LSD have anything to do with anything at all

LSD = OH MY GOD I DON'T HAVE A MIND
THIS IS A DREAM ....

what is hard is dissolving , and one might need to anchor to reality .
