To the woods and back - Mushrooms, Speed, MDMA, MDA, Weed, Ketamine, Alcohol - exp!
I am very experienced in MDMA, MDA, Weed and Speed and have had 3 experiences of mushrooms earlier this year although at times the mushroom experiences were slightly unpleasent I had enjoyed them and I definitely respect them and know to be careful whilst on them.
Approx 12 beers, 1/4 of white russian weed, 3/4 of pill, 2 small lines of ketamine, 3 lines of speed, 1/2 teapsoon of mushroom honey (I dont know how much was in it but fucking hell it did a lot!!!) and around maybe 5g of fresh mushrooms.
I woke up on Saturday morning at around 11 and was excited about a free party in the centre of the city called peace in the park, there was going to be a dance tent run by my favourite local club so I was looking forward to dancing in the sun practically outside, the weather was nice and perfect for an afternoon/evening outside
At around 2pm I went to A, B and S's flat so we could go to the park, some of them were still getting ready so we didnt get there till maybe 3.30pm after stopping to buy beer and food on the way, when we got there we met L, N and J, I am have a good friendship with L and N (they are a couple) and I have met J a few times, in the past week I had found out that J had a room spare in his house and as I was looking for someone where to live soon, I thought that afternoon would be a good chance to spend time with him and get to know him so I knew I would be ok living with him.
We sat in the middle of the park, there were plenty of people around us, children and adults from all backgrounds and cultures all having a good time in the park, I had had a few beers and spliffs by this time and it was not long before I noticed a tent near to us where people (mainly children) seemed to be making hats, I decided I wanted to make a hat and me and L went and sat down and used different materials to make me a hat, it kind of resembled a crown and had a cane coming out of the top of it to which we attached a star and some silver bits hanging down, it had two straws coming into my face (dont ask why!!!) and lots of thin strips of multi coloured paper hanging down towards the side aswell as a piece of bright yellow material wrapped around it and a strip of yellow material with holds punched into it at the back!
After a while the dance tent behind us seemed to pick up a bit and more and more people seemed to be dancing and music got a little harder more to my liking so me and L, N and J went inside and started dancing, I was quite drunk at this time and kept having to go to the toilets but there was only 4 so I had to rush accross the road and to behind some buildings in my desperation to go! At some point during this time N and J had taken a pill each and we had smoked some more weed and drunk some more beers.
J disappeared for a bit then returned and pulled out a brown bag in which contained a large mushroom, he had bought this at a shop just down the road, I had some pringles and we put the two together and made kind of sandwhichs to mask the taste, I had about 3 bits of relatively mushroom maybe around 3 grams. We kept dancing and the music was getting harder as the night progressed it was probably around 7pm maybe a bit later now.
N and L decided to go back to L's flat just up the road where we would meet them later to decide what to do, I was still wearing my magical hat at this point and dancing a lot, everything seemed to get rather amusing although I kept thinking to myself the little amount of mushrooms I had had done nothing I definitely felt a bit different to usual (whatever that is
).
Not so long after this me and J decided to go meet N and L and went to L's flat where things got very funny, we were all very drunk/stoned/under the influence of something by this time, J managed to make a trip to the shop to buy more beers and after quite a bit of rolling around on the floor and shouting/laughing at people going out through the window, we decided to go to mine so I could get stuff ready to go out that night before leaving we all had a small line of amphetamine. There was a few outdoor free parties going on but we had to wait till later that night when they announced the location in order to know where we were going and whether it was too far for us to get to.
We got to mine and somewhere in between this happening J's friend J2 had arrived! After getting everything we needed from mine and seeing A and B again as they were going out to a club we set of to a pub where we thought there would be other people going to one of the parties so we could get a better idea of where it would be, we went in a taxi to the pub and stopped off at the shop on the way to get more beer and food, when I was paying for the beer I struggled to get the 8 bottles I bought into the bag and was scared it was going to break so I kept putting it in more bags and more bags and more bags, the check out girl didnt look overly impressed by the noise I was making about bags...
When we got to the pub we found it was actually pretty quiet apart from the loud music in the backroom which was almost empty apart from some guy I recognised, I went up to him and asked if he knew where the party was, he did it was in some woods just outside of the city so around 10pm (maybe a bit later) we decided to set off there not knowing how far it was, we ordered a taxi and then went back into the city to drop N off before going right towards the other end of the city and out of it into some country lanes, we didnt have an idea wherebouts in the woods the party was and the taxi driver informed us it was one of the longest roads around, I think all of us was a bit concerned about not finding it!!
Eventually after passing what looked like and entrance and going back we stopped and got out of the taxi guessing the party must be here as a few other cars were arriving, at this time there was much confusion between people arriving as there seemed to be no signs of a party yet this was definitely where it was, we helped someone set a tent up and then when we saw vans arriving and more people driving through a gate down a track we decided to follow them, we could see half way down a field a marquee set up with lights and music and people dancing so we headed towards it, whilst walking down the gravel track L slipped and fell cutting her leg
, the music they were playing was pretty funky yet the dj did not seem to be able to mix at all! From what we could tell there must have been another soundsystem set up further down the field as there was a constant supply of cars going down there, although we never made it down there.
After a while of sitting down L and J had another pill, I was yet to take a pill although after a while I found about 3/4 of one in my pocket (when the pill was whole it contained 55mg MDMA and 55mg MDA so 3/4 was still a nice amount to take) I was still drinking beer at this time and mustve had a beer in my hand constantly for many hours, I normally stop drinking after a while but I think the speed kept me going. I was in a very good mood at this time and really enjoying the party going on.
We asked around to find out where the techno soundsystem was and it was the one above us in the field which had set up so we headed there, either soon after we got there or at the original soundsystem we were at some lady had come round offering us some mushroom honey, I had only heard of this earlier in the day when J had told me about it so it was strange that it had suddenly come into my path, J and L had some while I wondered if it was a good idea but I thought a little bit would be ok so I had about 1/2 a tea spoon of it and washed it down with more beer and spliff and speed
Soon after this we were dancing lots and I felt very euphoric, the music kept me dancing and I felt totally free, I was definitely starting to trip quite a bit and was enjoying the swirling patterns I could see with my eyes and the general psychedelic look everything had, I was beggining to get the melty feeling which I knew from my previous tripping experiences and laying back melting into the grass was fun, all of a sudden the sun seemed to come up and it was light, I kept going to the toilet at the edge of the field and the grass looked unbelievable which reminded me of one of my AMT experiences, I think I kept talking to the grass although I cant be sure!!
J and L seemed to be cold so we went and sat round a campfire someone had made although the people who made it seemed to have gone leaving us in charge but when it kept going out we all looked at each other to say what do we do now!!! L was laying on the floor (later I found out she had had a spoonful of mushroom honey that was overflowing, I cant imagine the trip she mustve been having especially as she had not really tripped before). Me and J were dancing and now as it was light I kept on recognising people I knew which was fun, in a way the only bad thing about the night was earlier on when it was dark and you couldnt see anyone so I mightve missed people who I wouldve loved to have seen!
At this time we got talking to some more people and my general psychedelic mindframe made the conversations very amusing, we talked a lot of bollocks and a lot of sense in the same sentences of course
I dont know what time it was when we decided to leave, probably around 6.30am and we set off walking, at first I phoned the taxi guy who had brought us knowing he would know where to come to fetch us but trying to speak to him on L's phone didnt happen as I couldnt work out what I was doing very well. We walked up the field and into the car park where we saw some other people trying to work out how to get back to the city.
We kept walking down through the road which went down the middle of the woods until we remembered we had some speed and decided it would make the journey easier so we stopped in a clearing at the side of the road and had a line each as we were doing this a very old mini drove towards us and stopped there were two quite old men in it 40-50's (maybe) they asked us where the party was then drove off on the wrong side of the road at high speed.
We kept walking further down the road until we reached civilisation and there were lots of houses and even more houses, they all appeared to be like lego, it looked as though we could pick the bricks out of them strangely enough we couldnt but it was a nice thought! Eventually we found a shop and went in and I bought a piece of plastic for 8p which we decided was definitely worth more than 8p and wondered why anyone would bother to sell that amount of plastic for 8p.
We kept walking and realised we were on the outskirts of the city and recognised where we were, at some point around this time the starburst I had managed to eat had given me hiccups, not just any old hiccups though these seemed to be super hiccups which got rather annoying and were even quite painful. We kept walking and found a tram stop that would take us back to the centre of the city, we got on and paid although the conducter didnt seem to like the fact I couldnt say a full sentence without a rather large hiccup.
We got off the tram very close to where the party in the park had been and went to look at where it had happened, nearly everything had been moved away and we found it hard to believe there had been that amount of people on what now oked such a small space the day before. Then we went to the shop and I found the most random card ever which I am still trying to work out what occasion it is for, so far no one has come up with any worthwhile ideas!
Next we walked a bit down the road and phoned for a taxi to take us to J's house, I had not been to J's house before but had been meaning to for a few days just to check if it was ok for me to live there, when we got there I rolled a spliff and J cut out some lines of ketamine, I had not taken ketamine since January this year and I knew it made me feel sick sometimes although I decided after the night I had had I might aswell do some, it was quite a fun experience which saw my perception of everything take on another angle, the only problem was snorting it made the hiccups come back and the hiccups made me retch quite a bit. It was a lot of fun though I decided ketamine was like snorting mushrooms as it kicked in a lot quicker and left me with the melty feeling, as I was coming down the stairs at one point it seemed so quick, I spent quite a while dancing as movement always feels much more free flowing on ket.
I needed the bathroom badly although there was no paper so me and L made a short journey to the supermarket just up the road to get some, before we left I asked both J and L if I had any white powder around my nose to which they replied no. We got into the supermarket and I knew we had to be quick as I didnt like being around all the sunday morning shoppers, we located some at 2 lots of 4 for £2 which I was happy with and went to the checkout, when I tried to hand the money over to the lady I accidently through a pound coin at her which made me laugh and we were laughing at everything anyway, she didnt seem too impressed either although the boy infront of us laughed at the situation, it was only when I got back and went to the bathroom I realised the white powder stuck to my nose and told L and J that I had asked them about it, oh well!!
Another person living in the house L2 woke up and came downstairs and smoked some weed and then N arrived to see what we were doing, after a spliff or two we phoned for a taxi as I was pretty tired and wanted to go lay in bed, the taxi dropped L and N off then me at mine and I decided just before going to bed I would go and see A and B and everyone who went out with them although they were all asleep this was around 11am.
I went to bed and woke up properly later that evening perhaps 8pm I am not totally sure, then I went to the shop and bought a few more beers and went to A, B and S's flat where there was a few people recovering from the night before watching tv and others doing ketamine, I decided to have a small line as I had enjoyed the line I had had before that day, although all this line did was make me a bit paraniod that I was going to throw up! After a while I decided to go back to mine and came online for a bit.
Next I went to sleep and kept waking up but going back to sleep again, I was laying in bed early this afternoon when the buzzer went, I answered but no one appeared to be there, so I went back to my room and it went again, it was A who said he had some very bad news, instantly this threw me and I was scared of what his news would be, I went downstairs to speak to him and he told me of a good friend of his who I had probably met at some point as he lived near me and was friends with my friends, that had taken his own life on the friday previously, he was very upset and this upset me also.
I got dressed and went to buy some food and music to cheer me up a bit then came back here and saw A again who said he was going away for a few days as he didnt want to be around here reminded of what had happened, I feel very sad and have been trying to stop myself from crying all day but it is not working.
Overall I had a great weekend and possibly one of the best nights ive had but it is such a shame about K the guy who commited suicide, I cant get my head around it and the drugs that I have taken this weekend probably has not helped how I am feeling, the last time I had a very good night about 3 weeks ago someone else died of a heart attack who I knew and I am really struggling with the fact that people keep dying around me when they have so many more years left in them.
