I am not familiar with the WA season but I believe it is atleast slightly later starting than the east coast (where I live) and is only really fruitful in the more southern parts of WA.
Here in Melbourne I have never picked shrooms any earlier than April, although I have read of small to moderate March findings. I generally don't get large, consistent findings until May. I would have to assume the WA season doesn't come up until atleast May, and perhaps June.
This thread is pretty premature, only the North East of Australia has a shot of finding shrooms at this time of year as far as I am aware (I could be incorrect and cubensis available in WA, but I am unaware of it)
If you plan on tripping in the near future then San Pedro/Peruvian Torch or LSD/LSA are likely better potential options than psilocybe mushrooms are at this point in time.
I suggest you research Psilocybe Subaeruginosa as much as you can in the mean time between now and the actual season. Expect this thread to be closed or merged into the existing psilocybe mushroom thread, although the merge seems unlikely to me, given the lack of relevance of this topic at this particular time of year.
