MS contin, pretty lame

Well I tried MS contin recently,
Heres what I found:
30mg insufflated (scraped off coating, then crushed)
Steadily building 'high' for about 3 hours. High becomes more and more 'stupifying', not euphoric and fun really. Felt like a very 'heavy' high, not the light floatiness of oxy or hydrocodone. Lasted VERY long time, 6+ hours. My nose got really clogged up, leading me to believe that crushing the MS contin does NOT defeat the time release 'gel' effect that others described.
In all, decent, but only if I had nothing else to consume. Wouldnt pay more than 5$ of my own money for it.
Take it for what its worth.

I agree. They'er completely over-rated, imo. They are used to treat severe pain. I dont understand that. If taken as directed, orally, I think MS C's would be almost worthless. I'd rather have hydrocodone. IVed they are ok. The rush is nice but it ends there for me. I get a feel good for ten minutes then back to base line.
I'd never turn them down though but like you I wouldnt pay much for them.
 
Well if you're only using 30mgs, no wonder you think it's stupid. Maybe you should learn about dosing before you diss a drug.
And of course simply crushing it won't defeat the time release. Again, another reason why you shouldn't be calling it stupid.
It might be more appropriate to attempt to defeat the time release then take a much larger dose orally.
 
i agree with sovietcontin.30 mg for abuse is just not enough for most people.chew on a green 200mg and then post about how worthless ms contin is,that is when your eyes uncross.

I used the magical search button and looked around, no one had said much about specific dose, and when they did, they were like, uh, "try 20mg to start" so i figure 1.5x that is a decent dose for someone who handles their stuff ok...
Yeah I imagine 100+ mg would be a bit different...
Derno, I still didnt like the 'heavy' feeling of the high...
Ill take oxy if i have the choice, but true, I wouldnt turn down the MS if its all that was around...
And i never called it stupid, I just thought it wasnt what everyone says ... "ooooh! morphine! thats the stuff in movies right? that like people in the war get?? OOOOH youre so hardcore"

Why wouldn't crushing defeat the time release? Do you just need to crush it really fine? If not, how would one go about destroying that damn time release thingy? On a related topic, I've found 80-100 mg of instant release morphine via Roxanol Intensol to be very pleasant, except for that whole vomiting thing...

MScontin definitely sucks....well at least in my opinion..
However, I am an everyday opiate user, therefore because of my tolerence,that may be why i barely feel the effects.... the only use i get out of mscontin is keeping myself from going through withdrawl when (and if) i run out of oxy. I need to take like 100 mg of it to feel anything....(please, I already know how horrible i am i don't need 10,000 replies ensuring me this factor, thank you)...
It might not be safe...but i did find that drinking with mscontin is kinda nice...i was really relaxed. but to sum it all up...if u can do oxycodone instead...its a way better high by far.
 
If i chew one of the blue oblong MSContin 100's I get a heavily-sedated WONDERFUL high for like 6 hours....morphine is the shit. ever sense i have been on bluelight people talked shit about morphine, but i have ALWAYS defended it...LONG LIVE MORPHINE
 
I like oral morphine, but like Denial said, it is too sedating. If I take between 100 and 150 mg, I am good and high, but I can't stay awake for long to enjoy it. In my opinion, oxy is actually stimulating in moderate doses, and it doesn't make your head feel like a giant boulder. Morphine actually gives me a headache sometimes too.
