Yep. I'll be a year meth-free here in November. It doesn't work anymore. Adderall works much better

Shooting from the hip here, but if you conceptualize psychosis as a learned state, once the neural connections are formed, they are going to be more readily activated.

Dopamine is a potent agent of learning, and high dopamine levels are going to encode the experiences during that state with high salience.

Meth use could be acting as a cue to bring these connections (and therefore these patterns of thought) to the surface.

I have been in meth withdrawals for over two years maybe three and in complete psychosis after stopping. When I relapsed my psychosis went away so I’m very scared to quit but I want to. Anyone else been through this? Psychosis for years and it stops when you use again, has anyone have suggestions ( been to rehabs etc. but always in psychosis and insurance only pays for 30 days and I go into worse psychosis) it would be appreciated. Thx.
