stubborn branches
and careless birds
dance with the wind

the waves cloak
the glistening seashells
littered politely
along the undulating shoreline

a distant vessel
glides along the horizon
rising and falling -
controlled by odd waves

and as I sit and observe

I know -

that emotions do not move.

thanks man, valium and sitting at the beach will produce such writing =)

Very peaceful poem. Liked the short, quick lines and especially the third stanza with the way the waves are are pushing along the vessel. It's funny because I see emotions being a lot like those waves the way they rise and fall. Definitely enjoyed it.
