I recently moved from FL back to NY ( I've been jumping back and forth over the past year and a half; never staying too long and always going back to FL.)

Well, I'm here in NY now, and can't get into a PM doctor for almost a month. I also do not even HAVE a regular doctor right now, and have been calling like crazy trying to make an appointment. To top it all off, I have 2 days of meds left ( MS contin 30mg / Roxicodone 15 for BT) and am starting to panic. I didn't think it'd be such an ordeal getting a Doc up here. I guess I should have planned better. If I go to an emergency room with my RX bottles will they be able to write me my meds for at least a week or two to buy myself time to find a doctor? I don't want to waste my time/money going to the ER and getting 21 perk 5's or something, so I just wanna know if the ER can write my RX. I called a walk-in clinic. They said they charge 190 for a visit if it involves back pain, and it's more expensive if they RX narcotics.

I'm used to FL pain clinics and from what I see, NY is A LOT different. Which I expected. Sorry for Rambling a bit. Anyone have any idea? Or know a good PM doctor on Long Island? I know dope is hot like fire here right now, but I would rather look in my bottle for my fix and NOT have to comb the streets of NY. (not that I would O:) )

thanks ya'll

Sorry man i don't know shit about NY, all i know is FL and CALI are pretty much the 2 states you will find a PM doc no problem.

Good luck with all that shit, i have a feeling it's gonna take a looooong time befor you get any treatment like you would down here in FL, sucks but it's true.
