in the depths of your imagination
Each night is spent mourning for a loss,
As another part of her soul dies slowly.
Tears fall silently as her mind drifts;
Once again she cries herself to sleep.
Dreams of a loved one soon embrace her,
Gently healing the wounds she suffers.
The dim light of the dawn approaching,
She awakens, with no memory of past hours.
Denial seems to be her only sanity now.
She refuses to admit what's really killing her,
Convincing herself the pain is her own fault,
And that her lover is the one who revives her.
Their love is one that is claimed to be forbidden,
Though she's in far too deep to let go of it now.
Too blinded by emotions to see the truth,
Led by a voice not knowing where it will lead her.
So many times she's seen what the future holds,
But these visions are quickly dismissed, erased.
She believes they're just lies, better to be ignored.
The thought of being without him haunts her.
When he's near, she forgets the pain he's caused.
After he leaves, and she is finally alone,
Her euphoria quickly turns into depression,
And she's left to suffer, and her soul dies again.

I wish I could respond, but knowing the idiocy of certain people it would be edited no matter what I say, even if it is complementary like one of my others posts...
