Most problematic for heart, Ephedrine or MDMA?

Was just wondering, on a mg/kg scale , which one of above substances causes the most strain on cardiovascular output and body temperature?

Which one has the higher risk of causing a heatstroke 150 mg ephedrine or 150mg MDMA, e.g. ?
 
It is hard to compare these chemicals, as they really are not that similar in mechanism of action, aside from the fact that they are both amphetamines. I would say that a 150mg dose of (-)-ephedrine would cause considerably more acute cardiac stress than a 150mg dose of racemic MDMA (150mg of (-)-ephedrine is a really fucking high dose--enough to kill an ephedrine-naive person, especially if they had any preexisting cardiac channelopathies). As for acute disturbances in body temperature regulation, I'd say MDMA for sure.

from a heart/cariovascular point of view:

150mg of ephedrine would be huge dose for someone not used to it.

25mg of ephedrine make my heart do a big jump in rate.

50mg makes me sweaty and heart not feeling good.

100mg... I wouldn't even want to chance it. (all at one time).

I find it to be harder on my system than amphetamine mg to mg basis.

MDMA is not as hard at all comparatively (and subjectively). With MDMA I can be comfortably lying in bed or watching TV and not feel all hyper and freaked out about my heartrate. (hyperthermia is of course a different concern as MDMA as more of an effect on the brain, correct?)
 
heh damn.. a friend of mine took approx 250-300 mg's of ephedrine over 3-4 hours at a crowded rave, i told him not to exceed over 25 mg per 2 hour period atleast, but didnt listen.. Danced like hell with a sweatshirt on all the time, for like 7 hours. said he felt fine all night but after going home he felt ill, puked and cold sweated all night without being able to sleep. hes probably slightly overweight too, guess he was lucky to not suffer serious complications. also in those pills there was like total of 3 grams of guaifenesin too, + he kept smoking cigs all night.
