Opioids Morphine withdrawal?

So the other night I took 30mg of morphine sulfate along with 60mg of hydrocodone. The next night I took 60mg of morphine sulfate along with 60mg of hydrocodone. About 36 hours later I felt as though I had the flu and had a terrible headache. This feeling lasted about 6 hours with the headache hanging around all day. I have never had any sort of withdrawal before because I usually only use about 60 mg of hydrocodone about 5 or so times a week. Is it possible that I had a withdrawal or was it some kind of weird cold or something?

5 times a week? That's more than enough to get a withdrawal. How long have you been using this regularly?
 
I use 5 times a week, thats a rough estimate though. Many weeks I will go 3 or 4 days without taking anything and I have never experienced any withdrawal. I have been doing this about a year or so. Since morphine is a much more potent opiate, I didnt know if taking those large amounts those 2 times could cause a withdrawal.

Sounds like your body liked the extra morphine, and gave you a taste of wd's. You use opiates ~ 5 x weekly, that is pretty heavy.
 
We don't SWIM here - I edited your posts, but it's entirely possible that you're just feeling W/Ds.
Using that much HC daily is asking for trouble.
 
You all are very right about this being a problem. I know some people who have way bigger habits than me, but after that withdrawal I feel as though i really need to quit before it gets worse. I want to go back to living a life where i have money and am responsible and clear headed. Since falling in love with hydro a year ago ive neglected a lot of things in my life that i used to value. I plan on this being my last night with hydro and getting back to my old addiction free life. Wish me luck!
