Morphine Sulfate Pro longed release - Quick question

Hi

I popped a 60mg Morphine Sulfate Pro longed release tab about 2 hours ago and have not gotten anything out of it. Nuforen plus gives me a better buzz.

anyway does anyone know of how I can safely get more out of these tabs? I heard chewing them before you swallow gives you a better high as it bypasses the pro longed release aspect. I've also heard crushing them up and snorting them can give a nice buzz.

Any advise ?

The one time i can remember doing Morphine tablets i crushed them up and took them orally, tbh i didnt get much out of them either, knowing me i probably took a stupidly high dose aswell.

I have read that they have a very low oral - Bio Availability - 25%

^ this. Morphine has shit bioavailability when taken orally. Probably, even if you had instant-release pills, you would have a hard time getting high off them. So unless you're willing to bang them, stick to nurofen plus. I believe, for what it's worth, that intranasal has higher BA than oral with morphine. But given that the pills are SR, you would really need to bang them for it to be worth it.

Oh dear, is there anything I can do? . Would snorting them get me high?

The way I used to do it to get the most out of my scripts was I was I would crush the pill up into a real fine powder and then take and heat about 1.5-2 oz of water to boiling point in the microwave. Then I would pour the powder into the hot water and mix it up until it dissolved (usually about 3-5 minutes of mixing.) The reason for this is because the morphine is suspended in usually a waxy substance so you need to melt that away. Its not the case for all MS contin pills, but, for most. Hope this helps. Oh and dont snort them. Seriously. Don't. Also don't shoot them because of said waxy substance. It could really do some damage if that wax got into your vein.

Ok i'll give it a go then, when I've done that should I then just drink the entire mixture? or will I need to seperate the mophine from the wax?

Why do you advise not to snort? cuz if its just cuz theres a bit of pain then i won't mind that.

I just drank the whole mixture. I didnt bother with filtering, but some may advise to filter it. Also, I say dont snort because your not going to get anything out of it because again, the wax. They put that wax there for a reason, to stop it from being misused. But like all locks, theres a way to break it, just need the right tools.
