Morphine Sulfate + Dimenhydrinate (for nausea)

Hi guys, long time lurker of bluelight, love the forums, helped me a lot and now I feel as though I should officially join the community!

Question though,

I obtained 2 100mg morphine sulfate extended release (Kadian) pills. My plan is to crush up the little beads, remove the waxy bits that covers them as much as I can and either insufflated or take orally (haven't decided, maybe a bit of both to test each).

My question is, I get nausea's when taking Codeine and Oxy so I'm assuming the same will fall for when I try this morphine. I'm aware that dimenhydrinate potentiates opiates but if I took 50mg of it for nausea how much morphine would be a good first time dose to keep it safe? Or is it just a dumb idea and I should tough it out all together haha.

I don't like anti-histamines with my opiates because I feel opiates should be felt as they are. Anti-histamines reduce the itch (which I like), the warm body feeling (which I love), and increase sedation which isn't always good. Regardless, tons of people use anti-histamines with their opiates, so it is perfectly fine to do so. I couldn't tell you how much to take, because I don't know your tolerance, or how Kadian works exactly, but I do know that you are fine taking an anti-histamine with it if you want to reduce the nausea. If you experience nausea with others, morphine is likely no exception.

It certainly is a matter of personal choice, I like antihistamines with my opiates because I like the nod (to a certain extent).

Dimenhydrinate is a nice antihistamine to mix with morphine, but it will increase the nod considerably, due to morphine's already sleepy nature.

50mg shouldn't be a problem at all, if you're that worried about nodding out too much, reduce the dose of the antihistamine to 25mg, it should still be effective against nausea/itching and will still potentiate the morphine.

Much like Alex000 I do not mind (actually relatively enjoy) the itching sensation but I would rather trade it out for nausea. So I think I will try a 25mg dose and see how it treats me.

Should I dose the dimenhydrinate before or after the morphine?

EDIT: an another note. anyone have any more precise directions to properly crush these little beads into snortable or mixable powder without the coating around them? all I've seen is smack them up as good as possible and try and remove the wax pieces that I see and go from there.
