Hi! I've heard that Roxanol (morphine sulfate 20mg/ml solution) has only a 17% to 49% absorption rate when administered bucally. Does anyone know if this is true and where I could find some documentation to support this? I am a hospice nurse and would be a great deal of help to me! Thanks so much in advance for any info!

Welcome to Bluelight jlamplighter. I think your question here is most suited to our Basic Drug Discussion forum so I'm going to pull it out of the Support Bluelighting Tips thread and send it there. Support is mostly about getting help with the technical aspects of using the site, understanding policies, and giving overall site feedback. If you are unsure where to post something in the future you can post in the Homeless Threads forum in The Bluelight Basics section.

according to this study "Oral, sublingual, and buccal bioavailability rates were
19.6% -± 8.3%,21.9% ± 6.0%, and 24.9 ± 10.1%, respectively."
