Morphine SR 30mg

I was just wondering what the ideal dose would be for snorting morphine? I am 115lb and little tolerance. Ive taken 60mg oraly but just felt a mild buzz. Thanks OH! I forgot to add that i have 90mg of morphine in total! Not 30.

Insufflation of morphine has extremely low bioavailability. If you aren't going to IV or plug it then your best bet would be to just stick with orally.

If you didn't feel much off 60mg, it's unlikely you'll feel anything off 30mg, unless you IV it.

^ true. Nasal bioavailability is pretty terrible, and rectal no better than oral I believe. In the spirit of HR I would encourage you not to start IVing your morphine pills - shooting pills is risky due to the filler/binders and it is essential you use a micron filter

The reason why oral is not an option is because i get bad stomach pains. So im resorting to snorting.

^ oral bioavailability is 30%, insufflated only 15-20% unless you combine it with chitosan.. so your best bet is probably to plug it as this has the same bioavailability as oral..

Rectal seems like such a hassle yes? Like all the things you need for it. The guide said it doesnt have much affect if you just put it in there without doing anything to the pill.

Do the math...

20% of 90mg = 18mg (insufflation)
30% of 60mg = 18mg (oral)

So, snorting 90mg of morphine would be roughly the same as ingesting 60mg orally.

Ok i see you logic. But its snorting, so wouldnt the high be stronger and kick in faster?
