morphine lollipops?

I had one last week. I think it was a 75ug/hr. Fucking awesome! It was a little short acting but they were really cool. I don't think it was worth $25 bucks though.

I don't think the lolipops are measured in ug/h, I think they are measured in total ug. Look at the fance plastic lolipop stick. It should say Rx, and the total dose, like 400 ug or 600ug or whatever you got.

[sarcasm]You have no idea how handy that would be! I mean, there have been so many times when I've had an Oxy or two and my house has gotten raided! If only they had been lollipops so the cops wouldn't have busted me for possession of pharmaceuticals and I wouldn't have gotten like 24 hours of hardcore community service!!![/sarcasm]

there becomimg pretty easy to get around here usually $20-25 but i still havnt tried one. Wait till the news media finds out about them it will be like another oxycotin"epademic" lol

I know a lady who's the pharmacist at the cancer institute. She said they keep a VERY close eye on these things. They have to do extensive inventory, cameras, locks, all kinds of stuff to keep a watch on them. Same thing with the patches. But mmmmmmmmmm, a lollipop that can make you feel that good, someone will find a way to get them out on the street.
oh, by the way, they are fentanyl.

they also (not saying the same company) have made nicotine lollipops. These were put out in conjuction with a few other creative nicotine delivery system products. They seemingly didn't need FDA approval, but got recalled because they later did need special FDA approval. Also further litagation proposed that they were targeted towards kids (the government has this thing about kids not consuming nicotine, it's wierd). At any rate, nicotine lip balm was recalled as well, but there were a few other cool things they put in it that I cannot recall right now

The nicotine ones make sense, it's like nicotine gum... something to satisfy the nicotine craving, as well as the desire to have something in your mouth and hand. But seriously, why administer fentanyl in a lollipop? I can see wanting alternative methods of drug administration for when injection, pill-swallowing, suppositories, swallowing a liquid etc are not desirable or practical, but doesn't fentanyl usually come in a patch anyway? how hard is that to use?

It's also great for acute pain managment. Patches are for chronic long term pain management. The suckers can even be used to augment the patch for short intense periods of pain. It's for breakthrough pain really... they are ok but highly over-rated IMO ..
