Hey all,

Before, when I would try to ween off of OC and get it out of my system, I would use vicodins to ease the withdrawal and come down slowly. I noticed the vicodins worked great in the sense that I could do enough hydrocodone to completely eliminate the withdrawal, but within a few hours they'd be wearing off and I'd feel withdrawal again.

I got some Morphine Sulfate 30mg ABG pills and took some late last night, and now all day I have had no cravings for OC which is very unusual. Usually, I will do OC at night and wake up fiending, and it will be intolerable by say 3-4pm and I'll want ot get some immediately.

My theory--- Does Morphine like bind to the receptors for a longer period of time or something? I am amazed how me taking morphine last night has completely prevented my withdrawal the whole next day. Let me know your thoughts or experiences on this!

Yes, morphine might not be the greatest opiate to get high off of (unless IV'ed) but it sure curbs withdrawls longer then and opiate I've had.
