Well I understand your problem. I was in same situation few years ago with allso history of substance abuse. Anyway, you should still have proper treatment for your problems not just SSRI's because they aint going to fix it. You need to find understanding doctor who is open minded and willing to learn new things. Tell him to search information about baclofen from pubmed and also tell him that baclofen is used to treat alcoholism in France today etc.
But if I were you and have allready tried many doctors without succes then I would simply order phenibut and/or baclofen online. There are many places ex. in UK where you can order.
