Opioids Morphine 15mg ER

Good day, I had a question about morphine pills. I’ve never tried it, I’ve only had oxycodone 10/325 before. Didn’t know how big of a difference in effects are of these two. If I were to get them, is 15mg too much to start? Also, oxycodone made me more active and helped kill the pains of work and gave me the energy needed to get things done, however I feel this won’t be the same. Just want to know what it is like first. Thank you.

Oxy is I believe x1.5 morphine so your 15mg morphine should be equivalent -ish to your 10mg oxy. I'm not accounting for oral bioavailability there though, but your 15mg ER morphine will be a perfectly fine starter dose

Morphine doesn't have the energy of Oxy though, and is more sedating and not as enjoyable ime

Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to make sure what I was getting in to. If it doesn’t allow for the energy, best to use when I hurt myself occasionally. Appreciate it
