Does it matter how long or how dark
the color takes to appear or the shade it comes in?
We had some brown molly b4 that
tested instantly to black, it was
not so good, we basically came up
and that was it. hours of almost being
there but never getting there. then we bought
some pokemons in fitchburgh and had 'em
ez tested,the color took like 7 seconds to appear,
and it was only light purple, the lady
told us it was E, and we took 'em and
blew up. so am I answering my own question,
or does time or shade have something to do with testing? Thanx.

you might be answering your own question, but not correctly.
they were different test kits, right?
that was probably it. some people have said they get a purple color (which is bad, because opiates turn purple, and apparently if the test kit is too old, it'll turn almost anything purple).
your weaker pills probably just had less MDMA in them. the test is fairly sensitive and you could get an instant black color even if there's a very small amount in the pill.
do NOT think that getting the same light purple in the future means you have a good pill. it doesn't. if anything, a strong pill would go to dark purple/black *faster*, although with a fresh kit it may be too fast to see. that's my theory though; i've never done the test.=P

ok the deal is that we just dont know. browse thru the posts in this forum (as you cant search, dammit) and you will see endless variations on this question. the wierd bit is that it goes both ways, for some people the more purple reaction is better, for others the black.
we suspect that other parts of the pills makeup, binders etc, canaffect the speed and slight colour change of the result, but this is just specualtion.
with your examples here is something to keep in mind: that molly you got, i take it you mean MDMA powder? how could you have been sure of its purity? lets say that somewhere alng the line it might have been 99% pure. any powder you buy is (most likely)stepped on before it gets to you, and the more hands it passes thru before it gets to you, the less likely it is that you are getting anything close to "pure".
now if this molly was in caps, at supposedly 100mg and was pure, you would no doubt roll. if, however, it was at 50% purity, you would only be getting 50mg, which might be under your threshold and would give you that feeling of "hours of almost being
there but never getting there."
i've heard those words from people taking caps many times before. just means that someone along the line got greedy.
