do you ever wish?
do you ever wish that some choices that you made
were made different?
you cant change the past but its icy hand will touch you for ever when you dwell on it
like an endless winding road through chaotic serenity, we all move as one
my darknes, my dark side
no longer lurks in my mortal surroundings
it has long since left for its deep sleep
still the shadows show me i am mortal
prone to unforgiving mistakes of choice
here we are again
a fork in the road, left or right?
we know no of our actions taken in the heat of a moment long forgotten
a deathly chill runs up my spine
unlike the warm summers sunset
which fills my heart and mind with and endless realm of joy.
touch my soul, i beg you?
it yearns for that soft touch
that moment where they have gotten to you...
for who you are, for what you feel
no judgement just a warm feeling
for mabey a fleeting moment, or year.
this feeling is not looked for, just randomly found
that feeling of being and loving, who you really are.. that pride in oneself.
the warm hand on the heart, it all makes sence at times
i feel like i was touched, not all that long ago..
one touched me by being honest with themselves,
the other decrypted me, just smiled and gave me a hug.
yet the second has intense eyes, a true window to their soul, i see a raging fire of passion being beaten down by an unsure and unobtrusive manner.
why does fear in failure always stop us from doing what we please
from taking a gamble on things sacred to us.
i wish we could all live in a world wherehonesty to oneself and one another can make us feel at home and comfortable enough to enjoy our surroundings with a kindrid spirit
