I'm curious, is there an overall consensus on how close M1, butylone and such are? Never done MDMA myself (just MDA) but it strikes me that these other drugs are surprisingly close in stated FX considering how chemically different they are overall... not a chemist either, so I could be wrong.

its called an N-oxide. the structure is not quite like that but the 5 bond notation is good enough for someone to figure it out

Nitrogen can form pentavalent compounds as well as its normal valency of 3. :|

nitrogen chemistry is sufficiently complex that someone could spend their entire research career looking at one tiny aspect and never be short of things to do.

the middle one I call 'MDMA-Fly', i'm trying to figure out what the most likely orientation of the lone pairs on the furan oxygens would be. because if at least one of those pairs is oriented in a similar direction to the ones on MDMA, there would be a match
 
^the lone pairs look to me to be pointing in the wrong direction.

I would also suggest that you look up in Piihkal regarding 2-methyl MDA I'm sure it is a known thing, but I can't remember if it reduced activity or had no effect.
 
Maybe this sounds stupid, but I think you can use some substances from the Morning Glory seeds.

I think that morning glory has a great 'love everybody' aspect to it. Some speediness and definitely a very very powerfull euphoria! You should chech it out!

Shulgin didn't report 2-methyl-MDA in PIHKAL, he made 6-methyl-MDA but it was inactive.

Nichols however made 2-Me-MDA and 5-Me-MDA a while ago, J. Med. Chem. 1998, 41, 1001-1005.

They were both more active than MDA as serotonin releasers, but were more serotonin selective and had little effect on dopamine release, so the subjective effects would be quite different I imagine.

Some guy on here posted a trip report claiming that he tried 5-Me-MDA and that it was active at 20mg, but hard to know if it was genuine.
 
5-me-MDA would be pretty interesting, i bet. I wonder how much more similar they get to MDMA as there's more SE release and less dopaminergic activity.

Hmm,entactogens are usually active at 100mg +/-,it appears an unbreakable pattern so far,but you'd be welcome %) ... btw like the structures which almost always have this two or three oxygen amphetamine skeleton in place.

Makes you think about the Piperazines where all say its crap.Maybe,the right one,the original,unbeatable by a wide margin-has just not yet been discovered??Like MDPR and the TASB's etc. wouldn't have lead the way to phens...
 
what about MD-2,5-dimethoxy-METH (or -AMPH)?

Ganesha is reported to be potent at doses similar (a bit higher) to the above to note

...as well as the 2C-G-x compounds (and perhaps likely they are more potent as their amphetamine or METH derivative)

Oh god, the 2C-G-x compounds -- I fear these, if anything, for the duration. A three day full-on psychedelic trip sounds like utter hell. I like to be in and out within six hours or less, thank you very much.
 
^The first compound looks like it would have quite distinct effects from traditional PEAS.

Slightly similar to nicotine.
