Day one,
the month brought new moon
Spun on a carousel,
visions
Like butterfly hunters
We wait,
Until moments true
we grasp collect and pin names upon,
Each flittering creation,
We were swept behind the sun
Blinded by light seen by some
Passerby looked into our vacuous eyes
skull-hollow
too far to follow
Like children with Ouija board ,
We waited for forms to originate,
I kept the tide flowing
In stride with the sound of grasses growing
Reclined absorbed with music of masses
These sand dunes formed because of you
Surreptitiously, contentions and rhymes
Blossomed from the fecundity of mind
Page after page filled up like stock volume romance novella
Pages flooded out unto the gravel underfoot
On the night of the New Moon
Uranus ascending, the natural mystic
We threw hoods high upon our heads
To read the signs
puddles
that form
Form the dripping dew
The carousel spun blurry, unsound
Lost in the band of Milky Way eternal
Rescued by the light of a candle
the month brought new moon

visions
Like butterfly hunters
