moldy weed - ok to smoke??

ok...i normally keep my weed in a sealed container and keep a damp q-tip taped to the inside of the lid to keep it moist. Well i think that i wet it too much or something because my weed looks all moldy now...there are white spots on it. so my question is...do you think it is still ok to smoke? will the mold just burn off or is it bad to inhale the spores? any advice is greatly appreciated....

weed disscussion belongs in Pyschedelic forum, but whatever, yeah you'll be fine, try to BRUSH off as much of the weed as possible, then just smoke it, aint gonna hurt you.

I'm interested in the input of someone else who's dealt with this, but from the info I can gather, mold spores can actually be quite bad for you. It shouldn't be a problem, as you should be able to remove most of it, but if your weed ever gets too moldy, it is generally not a good idea to smoke it.
Again, ask in the psychedelics forum for their comments, but I am fairly certain on this.
