mogwai new album rave tapes out 20th 01 2014

Rave Tapes is the forthcoming eighth studio album by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, due to be released on 20 January 2014, on Rock Action Records in the UK, and the following day in the USA on Sub Pop.[1] The album will be released on vinyl, CD and a limited box set. On 28 October 2013 the track "Remurdered" was premiered on Soundcloud.[2]

It leaked a while back now. I love it. Typical Mogwai perhaps with a bit more electronic edge. Can't wait to see them again this coming spring.

Not the biggest Mono fan. Definitely in the same vein as Mogwai, the kind of vein that Mogwai constructed in my opinion.

I only found them last night yer its defiantly mogwai esc shame how music seems to of got stunted these days it really seemed to die around 99 I think nothing ground breaking since the mid 90s from the uk .

sorry I dnt class the likes of garage and the sort of stuff as ground breaking more a repeated evolution than a real move forward .

So what do you think of it? I love it, because i love anything they release. I definitely liked Hardcore a bit more though. Maybe this one will be a grower or my love for it will change tenfold after seeing them play some of this new material live.
